We’ve heard it all before: Motherhood’s as tough as a full-time job, with exponentially larger emotional investment, of course. It’s a lifelong journey that begins from conception, one that becomes an irreplaceable, vital part of your being. For that alone, we salute mothers – it’s not easy! Couple that with running India’s first sexual wellness startup, and it’s that same journey, albeit traversed with two (very different) babies.
MyMuse was spearheaded by entrepreneur duo Anushka and Sahil, a married couple that noticed a gaping space in the market when it came to high quality, accessible, and simply fun sexual wellness products. The perfect example of partners in business and IRL, the pair worked hard to make sure the brand’s aesthetic, tonality and offerings are all in alignment.
The couple is eagerly looking forward to welcoming their little one! The office is chuffed, and it’s been an experience to watch the duo, especially Anushka carry the job of leading MyMuse, while also preparing for parenthood. Women are forces of nature – and Anushka’s been bringing her A Game, all while learning to adjust to what life looks like with a baby on the way. She’s always been at the forefront of the brand’s content and strategy, and you’ll notice how the brand has remained an authority on all matters related to intimacy – from “Fighting Better 101” to “Noods for Noobs” the brand addresses it all, in a nonchalant yet open manner. It’s no small feat!
Here’s to celebrating Anushka for acing it at work, and at her all-new role as a mom. It’s a glimpse into a life that the many women entrepreneurs and working moms across fields navigate their lives.
