When the airstrike by the Indian Air Force crossing the de facto border of India and Pakistan took place on the early morning of 26 February, we all had a hint that soon the heroic act will be adapted into a motion picture.
In the month of August, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi took to his social media sharing the details of his upcoming project that will narrate the story of ‘Balakot 2019’ in three different languages.
Post Vivek’s announcement, there was no news from any of the filmmakers but recently Bhansali Production shared a small note on their official social account stating: “A story that celebrates the accomplishments of The Indian Air Force🇮🇳
#2019BalakotStrike ”.
As per the social media feed, Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Pragya Kapoor, is all set to bring the story of the accomplishment of Indian force. The movie will be directed by the award-winning Director Abhishek Kapoor, who was last seen working along Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Kedarnath’.
