Coronavirus has caused its ill-effect on many events happening across the globe. While many world-class events and celebrations got postponed or cancelled, Yonex Sunrise India Open 2020 is still going to take place on its scheduled date in the K D Jadhav Indoor Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi from 24 March to 29 March.
According to a statement released by the Badminton Association of India (BAI), the event will take place behind the closed doors with no spectators and enhanced precautionary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of players and officials from a health perspective.
The 10 edition of this Badminton Tournament is also a qualifier match for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2020.
