One of 2020’s most awaited films, ‘Sooryavanshi’, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif under the direction of Rohit Shetty, will be released on 24 March. The makers of the movie have preponed the star studded film and along with ‘Sooryavanshi’, theatres in Mumbai will be open 24 hours.
Akshay Kumar shared this good news with a video on Instagram. It also features Ranveer Singh from ‘Simbaa’ and Ajay Devgn from ‘Singham’ in the release date announcement clip. Have a look:
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Atrangi Re’ co-star Sara Ali Khan has wrapped the shooting of ‘Coolie No 1’. Also starring Varun Dhawan in the lead, the movie is a remake of Govinda’s superhit film with the same name. Directed by David Dhawan, ‘Coolie No 1’ is scheduled to open in theatres on 1 May.

‘Devi’, a short film helmed and written by Priyanka Banerjee is a powerful film narrating the story of oppressed women coming from various walks of life who are restricted in a room and shows the nuances of everyone’s traits.
‘Devi’ has an ensemble cast of Kajol, Neha Dhupia, Neena Kulkarni, Shruti Haasan, Mukta Barve, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Sandhya Mhatre, Rama Joshi and Yashaswini Dayama in pivotal roles. The short film will be out for public viewing on 2 March.
