Bollywood actresses Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor took a step ahead to stand against animal cruelty, after a stray dog was brutally beaten in an upscale Worli society. According to the reports, a stray dog was cruelly thrashed with a stick by security guards of an upscale society, as it entered to take shelter from the non-stop rains in Mumbai. The dog was so pitilessly beaten that it went into a state of coma.
To support Worli Pup Extreme Cruelty Case, Sonam and Anushka took to their Instagram handles to raise their voice against the cruelty. Sharing the heart-breaking pictures and videos of the bruised dog, the actresses sentenced the incident and called out for help!
Sonam asks for help saying, “Please help! An FIR has been registered with the Worli Police Station by Bombay Animal Rights on 27/7/19 as Nishank had stopped responding to all our calls All videos & evidence available & provided to the police We need help for this Pup from our animal welfare community. BOMBAY ANIMAL RIGHTS 9920388000” while Anushka writes, “The inhumanity of this act is just unbelievable. This is the time for our community to step up and find a way to help get justice to a soul that can’t stand up for himself. If there is any way one can reach out to help, this is the time.
