Unlike family patriarch, Amitabh Bachchan is almost a regular on social media, the Bollywood Diva has always been a private person, but her decision is inspired by her unrelenting fan base.
A source close to the actress revealed that Aishwarya decided to join Instagram for her fans, who have been waiting for their beauty queen to be more active on social media for a while. ‘It’s due to constant request from her well –wishers, admirers, fan – followers from all around the globe that she opted to have an official handle on Instagram to keep her fans abreast of her life, projects, etc,’ the report states.
And Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been doing just that. Not just sweet odes to her family (read her mother and daughter) but also has been giving us glimpses of her school days even. The fiercly private actor was as gorgeous in her childhood obviously.
Known for her unparalleled beauty and brilliant acting prowess, the Devdas star made her mark in Hollywood as an international icon. The mother-of-one has been a regular on Cannes red carpet will be attending the Film Festival for the seventeenth time, alongside other Bollywood celebs like Deepika Padukone who will walk the red carpet for the second time and Sonam Kapoor who has made seven appearances so far.
Aishwarya left a lasting impression at Cannes last year after she wowed the red carpet with Cinderella-esque couture gown by Michael Cinco. The icy blue off-the-shoulder dress looked straight out of Frozen movie, was covered with beads and embroidered silver leaves and boasted a ball-worthy voluminous skirt.
Talking about her movies, the Bachchan bahu will be seen in Hindi musical comedy film Fanne Khan opposite Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role.
