With a motto of making life easier, Google keeps giving new dimensions to its products and truly no one can beat it. With the launch of Chromecast and Google Home, you can have the view of your smartphone live on the bigger screen and can control your whole house with just one tap.
Well, that’s not where Google stopped amazing us. Connecting all the compatible devices using speech recognition technology with just one command “Okay Google” was another achievement of the giant California based company, which soon was picked up by many other rival companies.
In the most recent development, Google has introduced a new feature ‘Stream Transfer’ to its smart home series. With this new update, you can transfer the live streaming of your favourite music, podcasts, videos, or series from one screen or smart speaker to another screen and smart speaker. With this new technology, playing music on your smart speakers and transferring them across your house will be easier and break free now.
Well, to see this new feature all you have to do is play music on one of your smart speakers in the room and just say “Hey Google! Move the music to the living room speaker” and within seconds you will be enjoying the same music in your living room.
You can do the same with the live streaming of YouTube videos too. Apart from transferring the music, podcasts, or videos, you can also make a group of speakers and can see the same music streaming on all your connected smart devices. This new feature will be available for the third-party streaming services too.
Now, you can pick up watching the same video from where you left, in another part of your house.
