Just ahead of the Turkish Grand Prix which is happening on 15 November, F1 drivers Pierre Gasly of Scuderia AlphaTauri and Alex Albon of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing drove around the streets of Istanbul.
Istanbul is one of the few cities in the world to be located on two continents; Europe and Asia, joined by the Bosphorus Strait. By performing doughnuts and doing a show simultaneously in Europe and Asia, the Bosphorus Bridge over the water body was their pit stop as this occasion celebrated the long-awaited return of F1 to Turkey.

Albon and Gasly took two F1 cars onto the 1.5km long suspension bridge, becoming the first drivers in history to perform a pit stop and doughnuts in one city across two continents at the same moment. Also for the first time, Scuderia AlphaTauri racing team will make an appearance on the tracks of Turkey.
This weekend, watch out for the Istanbul adventure on the tracks!
