YouTube has organized a graduation ceremony event, ‘Dear Class of 2020’, held on 6 June. Keeping in mind the safe social distancing norms, the virtual graduation ceremony will be streamed on the YouTube Originals website.
Celebrating all the students graduating this year, the ceremony is Google’s way of recognizing the achievement of students. The virtual event will be headlined by former United States President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Featuring commencement speakers, the ‘Dear Class of 2020’ will have speeches of encouragement from the K-pop group BTS, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, American musician Lady Gaga, activist Malala Yousafzai, Sec. Robert M. Gates and Sec. Condoleezza Rice. Apart from this, one will see musical performances from Alicia Keys and Kelly Rowland, among others.
