Directed by Deva Katta, ‘Prasthanam’ is an upcoming political-action Hindi film and the remake of 2010 Telugu film, with the same name. Produced by Sanjay S Dutt Productions and Manyata Dutt, the film will star Sanjay Dutt as Ketti Lokanatham Naidu and Manisha Koirala as Ketti Lokanatham Naidu’s wife. The film will also feature Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles.
After sharing the first look of ‘Prasathanam’, the filmmakers have finally dropped the teaser of the film on the internet. The one-minute and eight-seconds teaser starts with Sanjay Dutt’s voice saying, “Haq doge toh Ramayan shuru hogi, chhinoge toh Mahabharat”. Though the role of Sanjay Dutt is not clear, whether he will be playing the role of a gangster or politician or the combination of the two. The teaser ends with yet another melodramatic dialogue by Sanjay Dutt saying, “Faisla tumhe karna hai ke Ramayan ya Mahabharat!”
Sanjay Dutt took to his Instagram handle to announce the teaser by sharing the poster of the film. The film’s poster has a royal golden chair and a revolver placed in the table just in front of it. He captioned it saying, “Witness the war for power with #Prasthanam!
