The International Women’s Cricket team of New Zealand are going quite strong in their ongoing five-match T20I series against South Africa.
The ace batwoman and White Ferns’ captain Sophie Devine scored her maiden century in the T20 match and broke down the records of both Women’s and Men’s cricket team for registering more than 50 runs in her past five matches in a row.

Sophie scored 105 runs in 65 balls with 12 fours and three sixes and sharing an unbreakable partnership with Suzie Bates, helped the New Zealand team clinch the series with a 69 run win over South Africa.

Apart from Devine, New Zealand’s bowling line was quite restrictive and Anna Peterson took down three wickets in four overs while giving just 14 runs to the rival team.
The concluding match of the series will be held on 13 February at University Oval, Dunedin.
