It was 25 years ago that David Dhawan and Vashu Bhagnani had given us a timeless comedy, Coolie No. 1 and now they are giving us its remake.
And guess who is going to step into Govinda and Karishma Kapoor’s shoes? It’s none other than Bollywood’s two stellar performers, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan. Both are known to spread their charm with their quirky personalities and fun-filled energies.
After Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2, David Dhawan will be directing his son for the third time in the modern adaptation of the 1995 blockbuster. The film will also have the cult songs Husn Hai Suhana and Main To Raste Se Ja Raha Tha from the original Coolie No.1.
Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst, had tweeted quoting, ‘It’s official… After 25 years, David Dhawan and Vashu Bhagnani reunite to adapt their timeless comedy Coolie No 1… Stars Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan… Shoot begins in August 2019… Coolie No 1 is David Dhawan and Varun’s next collaboration, after the super successful Judwaa 2.’
Now, this is really going to be exciting.
