Varun Dhawan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming dance film titled ‘Street Dancer 3D’, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. Today, Varun shared an IGTV video on his Instagram where dad David Dhawan is seen schooling his son on how he used to work double shifts for his films in the good old days. In the video, Varun reveals that it was hard for him to shoot today, since he had a high fever on the sets of the film, but after listening to his father’s tough shoot days, he felt his schedule is nothing.
Varun captioned the video saying, “My dads schedule for his film vs my schedule. Even with fever while I shoot and think today was a hard day on the sets of #sd3. This is only till my dad told me how he used to shoot a double shift going up to nearly 19 or 20 hrs a day sometimes. Those days the unions where not strong enough for technians and films needed to be made in this manner.i want to always be the hardest worker in the room and I still have alot of catching up to do to earn that place in my home. #lovefilms”.
What a lovely father-son moment! Varun is not just a good actor but a good son too and he is pursuing his career in films under his father’s guidance.
After giving wonderful performance in films like ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘Badlapur’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’, and many others, Varun Dhawan will be collaborating with his father David Dhawan for the remake of the blockbuster film ‘Coolie No.1’ opposite Sara Ali Khan, which is scheduled to hit the theatres on 1 May 2020.
