The leading ladies from the South Film Industry turned muse for photographer G Venket Ram, who recreated the iconic paintings of Raja Ravi Varma from the 19 century. Looking like the exact replica of the paintings, the actresses oozed poise and elegance in their picture.

1. Shruti Haasan:
Celebrating the work of Naam Charitable Trust, Shruti Haasan posed in a light blue tradition saree to look like Rani of Kurupam. Her blue saree with the gold-coloured border was paired with a mirror worked blouse of the same shade. Laden with every piece of jewellery, Shruti can be seen wearing dark blue bangles, pearl necklaces and a pearl jeweled headgear. Keeping the makeup light and simple, Shruti went for a pulled-back hair bun.
2. Ramya Krishnan:
Ramya Krishnan oozed the South culture by donning the traditional kashta saree. Clad in red and gold saree with a pink coloured blouse of gold borders, Ramya posed against the royal walls while looking like Damyanti. With white and red gajra in the hair, Ramya wore a light pearl necklace with pearl ear studs. She is also seen donning a pair of gold broad anklets.
3. Aishwarya Rajessh:
Aishwarya Rajessh looked regal in her photoshoot. Wearing a red and gold saree, Aishwarya donned a lot of jewellery pieces to look exactly like the painting. Wearing a multicoloured blouse with green bangles, Aishwarya also wore toe rings to complete her look.
4. Samantha Akkineni:
Samantha Akkineni, whose ‘Jaanu’ movie is about to hit the theatres posed in a coy manner for recreating the Raja Ravi’s work. Donning a peach-coloured saree with gold coloured borders and gold blouse, Samantha went for gold and maroon jewellery pieces while accentuating the entire traditional look with golden pearl studded septum ring. Posing with lemon while wearing dark green bangles, Samantha looked elegant and beautiful in her new avatar.
