France and Paris Saint-Germain’s striker, Kylian Mbappé has tested positive for COVID-19. Now, he will miss the Nations League match against Croatia and is in self-isolation after leaving France’s training camp to return home.
The coronavirus test was carried out by UEFA after Mbappe scored a goal against Sweden in Nations League. The player is the seventh Paris Saint-Germain player to contract the virus, Neymar was among the first. He will also miss the club’s opening game of the Ligue 1 season against Lens.

On that note, Manchester City FC has confirmed that the club’s duo, Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have also contracted coronavirus. At the moment, both the wingers are asymptomatic and are observing a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.
