Based on the life of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ramya Krishnan is playing the lead role of Shakthi Seshadri. From childhood till her last breath, the series will show Jayalalitha’s decorated career. A fearless leader who was the best in everything she got into, acting, studies and politics.
The trailer will keep you on the edge and hold you till the last second. The portrayal of Jayalalitha in the trailer looks so captivating. The series is directed by ace filmmaker Gautham Menon and Prasath Murugesan. In the whooping 11 episodes show, it is exciting to see what’s in store!

Also, Ramya Krishnan resembles Jayalalitha in way too many scenes. Recently, too many movies and series are being made around her life, one of them being Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivi’. But hands down, ‘Queen’ works wonders and does a better job than ‘Thalaivi’ to portray the Tamil Nadu star. Each detail of her looks and body movement is kept in mind and shown so intricately.
