One of the biggest hits of Shahid Kapoor’s filmy career and the remake of Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy’, ‘Kabir Singh’ has completed a year of its theatrical release.
To celebrate the first anniversary of the movie, Shahid Kapoor, who played the titular role, penned down a heartfelt note for the movie as well as shared behind the scene images on the gram.
Starting out to thank his fans for loving ‘Kabir Singh’ and the complex character, Shahid Kapoor called the movie not just a film but an emotional arc for him as an actor. He called the role as raw, bare, unabashed, honest, fearless and especially real.
Shahid Kapoor took a dig at those who were quick to judge the film. He also called out for those people who understood the director’s perception of understanding the angst of a broken heart. Calling ‘Kabir Singh’ as a special movie, he concluded his note by thanking everyone who were associated with the movie, from co-stars to the crew.
