Former Tottenham Hotspur boss, Mauricio Pochettino has been named as the new manager and head coach of the French champions, Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
After the dismissal of the former PSG manager Thomas Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino has taken up the position, Played for PSG as a defender in the early 2000s, he was also the captain of this side. Back with PSG, the 48 year-old Argentine is honoured to take up this role.
Signing a contract until June 2022 with PSG, Mauricio Pochettino is back in the game after being out of job, was dismissed by Spurs in November 2019. Eager to play with some of the best footballers, he sees potential and will do his best to make PSG the champions, once again.
Mauricio Pochettino’s first game in charge will be on 6 January when the Premier League will resume following the winter break. He has already finished his first training session with the team, ready for an exciting chapter in the club’s history.
