This 9-Day Ritual Redefines Festive Wellness in India.
Around the world, “detox” has become shorthand for quick fixes like juice cleanses, fad diets, the occasional silent workshop. In India, the practice has always been a philosophy backed by science, built on the principle that just as wardrobes change with the season, so must our bodies. This September, Lifeyoga, where wellness is the new language of luxury, reintroduces this wisdom through its Navami Detox (22–30 Sept), a nine-day programme led by Dr. Tanu Singh.
Navami Detox 3.0 is not a festival-driven fad but a seasonal reset, India’s quietest & most enduring wellness tradition. Across nine days, the programme draws on the 5 elements of Indian cosmology and aligns them through a progression of tapping, pranayama, inversions, elemental asanas, detox shots, and Ayurveda-led dialogue. The aim: to return the body to equilibrium and prepare the system to meet winter with strength and clarity.
Dr. Singh is no ordinary wellness voice. With a PhD in Ayurveda specialising in Women’s Health and Nutrition, an international teaching footprint, and programmes curated for embassies and diplomats across Asia, she has spent two decades shaping how communities think about yoga and holistic health. At Lifeyoga, her vision blends more than 20 distinct styles of yoga with science-backed nutrition and mindfulness, making it one of the most comprehensive luxury wellness centres under a single roof.
Details about the Navami Detox 3.0 programme:
As is the individual, so is the universe. As is the universe, so is the individual.
The body, like the natural world, is woven from the five elements. When these elements fall out of harmony, our health does too. Seasonal detoxes are nature’s way of restoring alignment—helping us adapt to change, strengthen immunity, and replenish vitality so we can move through life with greater ease.
Over nine days, we will invite each element back into balance:
- Ether (Space): fasting practices to cultivate stillness and spaciousness within
- Air: pranayama to steady and regulate the flow of energy
- Earth: active asanas and grounding poses to build stability
- Fire: twists, turns, and inversions to ignite digestion and inner strength
- Water: Ayurvedic diet and hydration practices to restore fluidity and flow
