The winner of the crown was, Anwesa Ray Mukhopadhyay. The show was dedicated to popularising the whole idea of body positivity, besides unleashing the unbeatable potential that full-figured women hold within.
Mr. Ashwani Kansal, Director, Ms Plus Size India says, “In a progressive society like ours, we must break free from the shallow beauty standards that slender waist and fair skin make women truly beautiful. This is the time when we must strive to build a society where human bodies are celebrated the way they are, in the very raw form.”
This was a platform to showcase one’s talent and encourage them to be proud of their own skin. A place for women of all walks to come together, beyond one’s stereotype, boundary and age.
Let’s come together to support events which empower women and make one love their own body type!
