For the third time in a row, the commoners of Delhi have put faith in Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party. Registering a landslide victory, AAP has swept behind its main rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), restricting its seat victories in a single-digit.
With the existence of a multi-party political system, the Delhi election has suddenly shown a drastic deviation, making the entire political structure a bilateral one, where apart from AAP and BJP no other parties have bagged even a single seat.
Delhi Legislative Assembly election in 70 constituencies was held on 8 February and since the day of voting, the exit polls predictions were swooning towards the big win of Kejriwal’s party.
A bitterly fought elections in the capital city of India saw an overall 62.59% of voters turning in for choosing their new Chief Minister.
As Kejriwal prepares himself for another term of five years, PM Modi’s party has faced the third consecutive loss after Jharkhand and Maharashtra elections.
As soon the vote counting started today, with AAP leading in 62 constituencies, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia took to his official social media account expressing his gratitude to the people.
Manish Sisodia (@msisodia) February 11, 2020
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also shared a small clip on his social media handle, where he thanked and expressed his love to the Delhiites.
pic.twitter.com/q5xP8ytYvc

Congratulations @ArvindKejriwal ji & Delhi!
You have defeated negative & blatant hate politics decisively. Your verdict marks the defeat of politics of polarisation and division. I sincerely hope BJP takes a cue from this result and shuns communalism & bigotry once for all.

Congratulations @ArvindKejriwal as #DelhiResults show @AamAadmiParty all set to win #DelhiElection2020 with a thumping majority yet again. Leaders playing on faith through hate speech & divisive politics should take a cue, as only those who deliver on their promises are rewarded.
