As Maharashtra has Assembly Elections going on, it is time for the citizens to exercise their voting rights and choose the government democratically.
The film industry has been urging people to vote and emphasising that they shouldn’t take it for granted but exercise it responsibly. This is the only way we can choose and give power to the government that’ll help the country grow economically, socially and in defence.
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia travelled to his hometown Latur to cast their vote. Flaunting their inked fingers, he posted a selfie on his social media and urging his fellow citizens to vote.
Lara Dutta fulfilled her duty of being a responsible citizen and requested others to go out and vote as well.
With the voting day unfolding, Sachin Tendulkar along with his wife Tina and son Arjun, were among the first ones to reach the polling booth and cast their votes. Taking to his Instagram, he told the Maharashtra citizens to come out in huge numbers and exercise their voting right.
Vivek Oberoi and Kunal Kemmu headed to the polling booth, accompanied by their parents.
