Well well well, Instagram to get a lot more fun with the latest feature added to the ‘Reels. Now, you can create your own take on Reels made by others, with the help of the new ‘Remix’ option on Reels which is live now!
Scoring extra points with this new trendy feature, it is no surprise that ‘Remix on Reels’ will be a hit among creators and other social media users too!
This update will allow users to interact with other reels, create their own versions of it and upload it alongside the original one. The Remix feature is enabled by default for all new Reels you post from a public Instagram account and for older Reels, you need to tap on the three dot menu and tap on ‘Enable Remixing’.
In case you want to create someone else’s Reels, you need to ask them to ‘Enable Remixing’. Also, you can turn off Remix at any given point in time by going to the Settings menu and for a particular reel, you just need to click on the three-dot menu and turn it off. Every Remix Reel will have a split screen, original one alongside your own take on it.
And if someone does a Remix on your Reel, you will be notified!
