Regarded as one of world cricket’s leading off-spinners, Harbhajan Singh turns 40!
Making his debut in the Indian team in 1998, he has played 103 Tests taking 417 wickets and 236 ODI with 269 wickets for India. The former cricketer is the one of the highest wicket takers in the history of the game. Harbhajan Singh is the first Indian cricketer to take a hattrick in Test cricket, achieving this by dismissing Australian players Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist and Shane Warne at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in 2001.
With a 22 years long celebrated career, Harbhajan Singh has won two World Cups for the country, 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup. Playing his last match for India in 2016, the bowler has switched to commentary and cricket expert duties.
