The New Zealand team after winning the toss chose to field first which no doubt proved to be favourable for the Indian team. With a good batting line, team India scored 133 runs with eight wickets down. Post which it was the moment for bowlers to shine and by restricting the game of White Ferns players, team India dismissed the opponent team at 130 runs.
Well, the result is not surprising after witnessing the game for the past few times, but the brilliant field execution is something that we definitely couldn’t afford to miss. As usual, the teen star player Shafali Verma shone again, also becoming the Player of the Match.
