In men’s singles event, their campaign has come to an end especially after HS Prannoy suffered defeat in the second round by Kento Momota, 21-10, 21-15. Earlier, Verma lost against local boy Lee Zii Jia in straight games. Parupalli Kashyap and Praneeth made a first round exit within an hour of their game. Also, Indian doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty crashed out of Malaysia Masters after losing to Malaysia’s Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi.
