Bollywood’s Queen, Deepika Padukone has created history!
By becoming the face of Louis Vuitton for their pre-fall collection, Deepika is the first actor from Bollywood to be part of their 2020 global campaign.
Posing in an elaborate piece by the fashion brand, Deepika shared this record breaking news on her social media. Dressed in a checkered black and white dress, grey overcoat, mini belt bag and a pair of green quilted boots, her movie-like poster of the fiction thriller is titled as ‘Don’t Turn Around’. Deepika exudes an air of mystery while sitting in a subway like setting with a demonic face creeping in the background. The movie-setting poster features a tagline as well that reads, “Guess who? The past, that’s who!”
Sharing the dark and gothic look of the collection on her Instagram, Deepika wrote, “I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton family! To be a part of Nicholas Ghesquière’s vision for the world’s most iconic brand is not only exciting but also very humbling! Presenting… #LVprefall20 BOOM! @louisvuitton @nicolasghesquiere #louisvuitton”
