To announce the release of ‘The Simpsons’ on Disney Plus Hotstar, the streaming service platform ran a social media campaign featuring Bollywood stars. The world’s favourite nuclear family is coming to India with all 31 seasons and will go on air on 15 April. B-town actors shared posts with their loved ones as ‘Simpsons’ characters.
First to upload ‘The Simpsons’ post was Arjun Kapoor. He shared a vibrant drawing with his sister Anshula Kapoor as ‘The Simpsons’ characters. He told that he is Bart Simpson to his sister who is Lisa, annoying to her as the siblings are to each other in the show.
Next in line is Ayushmann Khurrana with his wife Tahira Kashyap who are standing and exchanging smiles. Expressing his excitement about the upcoming popular sitcom, the actor said that together the couple isn’t crazy but they are crazy about ‘The Simpsons’. He ended the post with one of the famous lines from the show, “Woah Mama”.
