Last evening at Hillsborough in England, with former Spurs star Chris Waddle and ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown, the lineup for the last eight of the Emirates FA Cup was drawn out!
At the quarterfinals, defenders Manchester City will hit the road to face Newcastle United. In another match, Sheffield United will host Arsenal and Leicester City will have home advantage to play against Chelsea.
For the last spot, Norwich City’s penalty shootout victory against Spurs got them a place in the tournament’s quarterfinals. But one still doesn’t know if they will go against Derby County or Manchester United.
The quarter finals are scheduled from 21 March onwards, with winning clubs collecting 720 thousand Pounds as a prize. Dates and time of each tie will be confirmed in due course following discussions with clubs, local authorities and broadcast partners.
