Few are blessed with a creative mind and the ability to just swiftly flow the brush or pencil on a paper. While the rest always end up saying, “I can’t draw a line” or “I can just stick figures” or “I don’t have the creative bone only”.
So, why not try your hand in simpler forms of art that are easy to do and look aesthetically pleasing as well. Capture it and share it on the gram!
Here are few art styles you can give a shot at during your free time. Have a look:
1. Fluid Art:
This artwork looks fantastic, something is mesmerizing about the way it draws you in with all its hidden details. Create a masterpiece of your own within minutes by just using paper cups, acrylic paints and a canvas. For this, fill the cup with acrylic paint of your choice and add 2-3 more colours to it but just a few drops. Place the canvas on a newspaper and tilt the paint filled cup on the canvas. Once the paint is spread on the canvas, move the canvas slowly so that the paint spreads all over it. Well, your fluid art is ready!
2. Scoubidou:
Buy scoubidou strings from any stationary store and use it to create many exciting designs and knots, in any colour and size. Get that creative feeling kick!
So, take two strings, like red and blue, and find the center to cross it over each other. Take the underneath strand of red and flip it on blue to get a loop. With the base ready, move to the main body, for this take the right side of red and flip it away from the blue to create a loop. Take the left side and flip it towards you over blue for the second loop. Tighten it to get a square shape, do this till the scoubidou strings end and for the completion knot, leave the endings of the strings and pull it together to get a secure knot.
3. Blow and Finger Painting:
The most fun art forms where you create your own patterns and design. Fun times!
Coming to blow painting, take a canvas and fill cups with paints of your choice. Dip a straw into the paint, place the same straw and blow it on the canvas. Repeatedly do this in your own direction and get a cool looking artwork.
Finger painting will remind you of your childhood. Dip your fingers in colourful acrylic paints and print it on a plain paper to make an imaginary drawing on the sheets.
