To fight coronavirus in India, the Aarogya Setu app was developed in the most transparent manner with public-private collaboration. With questions being raised about who created it, the government has released a statement to clarify all the doubts.
A robust and secure app, Aarogya Setu has been in question since its launch but when the Central Information Commission sent a notice to the government, a clarification was given out for the same. Here’s the tweet about it:

In a detailed clarification, the government has stated that the names of those associated with the Aarogya Setu app is already in the public domain. Created in 21 days to respond to the pandemic with the lockdown restrictions, this contact tracing app is the result of the best Indian minds and falls under the objective of Made in India.
An essential tool in the fight against the coronavirus, Aarogya Setu has been called in for giving evasive answers but the above mentioned tweet by the government has put a full stop on all these questions. The statement also talks about how 16 crore citizens have downloaded the app, receiving an appreciation from WHO.
