1 December marks the raising day of the Border Security Force and this year the Parliamentary force which undertakes the duty of guarding the border of the nation is celebrating its 56 years of service.
To commemorate this day and honour the valour and sacrifice of the security personnels, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has extended his greeting to BSF. On his official social media handle, PM has shared a tweet writing, “Best wishes to all @BSF_India personnel and their families on the special occasion of their Raising Day. BSF has distinguished itself as a valorous force, unwavering in their commitment to protect the nation and assist citizens during natural calamities. India is proud of BSF!”
