The year 2020 has taken yet another popular name, Dr Mahinder Watsa who with his expert knowledge and timely humour openly talked about the most forbidden topic, Sex, in India and wrote expert coloumns on it. At the age of 96, Dr Watsa took his last breath and the Twittertais paid tribute to the man who is known to have broken several taboos in his career.
Working as a consultant for the Family Planning Association of India, Dr Watsa boldly vouched for sexual counseling and education programme and helped the association open the first sex education, counseling and therapy centre in India. On this sad day, comedian actor Vir Das shared his condolence by writing, “Dr Watsa was important for two reasons.
It is so important to talk openly about sex, especially in a nation that has a billion people.
It’s even more important to have a sense of humour and empathy in that conversation.
Rest in Peace Good sir.”

Meanwhile, Oscar winning Indian music composer AR Rahman’s mother Kareema Begum passed away today due to ill-health. The renowned composer was really close to his mother and on this heartbreaking day shared a picture of his mother on the social media page without writing any words.

Music composer and singer Shankar Mahadevan also sent his prayers and wrote, “We all know how much she has sacrificed in her life for you @arrahman .A big loss .. take care brother . May Amma’s soul rest in peace .I still remember how she prayed for me when I had a bad voice during our tour”.
