With back to back hits at the box office, Akshay Kumar is ready with another project!
The Bollywood actor is collaborating with producer Vashu Bhagnani for the first time and the movie is titled ‘Bell Bottom’.
Set in the 80s, Akshay will do the role of one of India’s forgotten heroes. The gripping poster of the spy thriller film featured the star in a coffee brown suit with dark shades and a moustache, all the right ingredients to look like a suave secret agent.
Sharing this news on Instagram, Akshay wrote, “Get ready to go back to the 80’s and hop onto a roller-coaster spy ride, #BELLBOTTOM! Directed by Ranjit Tewari, Akshay will be portraying a never seen before avatar. ‘Bell Bottom’ which will hit theatres on 22 January 2021.
After working in Indian cinema for almost 30 years, Bollywood’s very own Khiladi has starred in a music video, ‘Filhall’, for the first time. The romantic number sung by famous Punjabi singer B Praak and also features Nupur Sanon.
A heart wrenching story about long lost lovers, we bet you will play this song on constant loop for days. With flashback sequences between young love and the hard present, Akshay and Nupur go through a roller coaster of emotions in the music video.
Taking to social media, Akshay shared the song, writing, “After being in the industry for so long, I decided to make my music video debut because some things are better felt than explained. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar watched Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Bala’ and cannot stop praising the actor, in his own style. Transferring his hit and social topics based movie crown to Ayushmann, he sent out all his love via tweets.

Bala is Akshay’s character’s name in ‘Housefull 4’, although the actor loved Ayushmann as Bala. On hearing this, the Khurrana was overwhelmed and expressed his gratitude via a tweet. See:
