Opting out of Vijay Sethupath’s ‘Tughlaq Durbar’, Aditi Rao Hydari took to Twitter to reveal the real reason why she quit the movie.
Penning down a detailed note on Twitter, Aditi has passed the baton of the female lead to Raashi Khanna and wished her the best. The actress revealed that she didn’t want to keep the team waiting for her. She also added that she had a word with producer Lalit Kumar and director Delhi Prasad Deenadayal, before letting go of ‘Tughlaq Durbar’.
Aditi Rao Hydari stated that due to the pandemic, the movie shootings are taking place but in a slow pace which has led to delays and schedules being reassessed. Feeling responsible towards not keeping any crew waiting, she’s also committed to finish projects whose shooting has already begun.
Not wanting to cause more delay in filming ‘Tughlaq Durbar’, Aditi decided to take a step back from the project she was looking forward to. Wishing luck to the team of the movie and thanking fans for their continued support, she signed off!
