A mournful day in the history of Football!
One of the greatest players of all time from the Football arena, Diego Maradona has bid adieu to the world at the age of 60.

Nicknamed as ‘El Pibe de Oro’ that translates into ‘The Golden Boy’ Maradona had ruled the fields of Football with his dribbling and brilliant gameplay. Wearing the jersey number 10, the man was regarded as a free-kick specialist and an outstanding captain of the team earning the title of ‘Classic Number 10’ in the media.
On this sad day, the world has expressed its grief over the loss of a sports gem and FIFA President Gianni Infantino shared his emotions by stating: “Today is an unbelievably sad day. Our Diego left us. Our hearts – of all of us who loved him for how he was, and for what he represented – have stopped beating for a moment. Rest in peace, dear Diego. We love you.”
