One look, a thousand emotions. Presenting the first look of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next starring Alia Bhatt in the titular role, dropped two looks from the film showcasing her character. The film is slated to release on 11 September 2020.
In one, Alia is sitting on a chair with her hair plaited and giving a deadpan stare at the camera. One cannot miss the pistol that is kept next to her. The second image is a monochromatic portrait that highlights the red bindi on her face as she intensely stares at the camera.
Sharing the first look on her social media, Alia Bhatt shined in the physical appearance as Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of his birthday, Sidharth Malhotra released the poster of his upcoming biographical action film, ‘Shershaah’.
Taking the poster to Instagram, the actor wrote, “An absolute honor to be able to paint the big screen with the shades of bravery & sacrifice. With intense backdrops of war scenes and for the uninitiated, ‘Shershaah’ is a biopic on war and real life hero Captain Vikram Batra whose character will be played by Sidharth Malhotra. He laid down his life for India during the Kargil War of 1999. He was honoured with the Param Vir Chakra as well.
Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, ‘Shershaah’ will hit screens on 3 July this year.
