Greetings! We’re Anji and Pete Martin of Potok’s World Photography, a wedding photography company that has been documenting marriage celebrations in the Washington, DC, metro area since 2014. We’re excited to be expanding our reach by offering our award-winning wedding photography services to couples in Chennai! We both have a deep personal connection to the city, a love of everything about South Indian marriage celebrations and a photography style that is perfectly suited to capturing the things that make Chennai weddings special.
Anji was born and raised in Hannover, Germany, but her mom comes from Chennai. So she visited the city frequently as a child. Pete is from the U.S. but has lived abroad for most of his adult life, thanks in part to his time in the American Foreign Service. His first overseas posting was at the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai, and he relishes every chance he gets to return to a city he came to love.
Our personal history and experience photographing South Indian marriage events means we are knowledgeable about the traditions and rituals that are so important to couples and their families. Perhaps more importantly, though, we understand how vital it is to preserve wedding-day memories forever. We want our couples’ children and grandchildren to see the photos and experience what it was like to be there.
