A birthday gift to her fans, Taylor Swift has dropped her ninth studio album, ‘Evermore’ which is the sister album of ‘Folklore’.
On Instagram, Taylor Swift posted three pictures and each, with a long note as she poured her heart out through this. Each picture beautifully captured the true essence of her album, ‘Evermore’ which has 15 songs in total. Also, the music video of one of her songs, ‘Willow’ from ‘Evermore’ has been released with the entire album.
Elated to announce this news, the pop star couldn’t stop writing music and put down these feelings in a poetic manner, “it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in.” Thankful for her co-songwriters Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, WB and Justin Vernon; Taylor wrote songs around dreamscapes, tragedies and epic tales of love lost.
Taylor Swift wanted to surprise her fans on her 31 birthday as she was excited for it this year. She hopes that her music will help people cope up from missing loved ones. The deluxe physical edition of ‘Evermore’ will have two bonus tracks, ‘right where you left me’ and ‘it’s time to go.
Finally, Taylor Swift penned down a thank you note for all those people who helped and guided her as she directed her own music videos, right from cinematographers, set designers to producers and visual effects genius. The singer also added that safety precautions were followed during the shoot of ‘willow’.
