Dark mode and dark themes have been trending for a while now.
And all the apps are now slowly switching to it and introducing the dark themes for their user to be on the top of their game.
While Android to WhatsApp to Facebook Desktop, adapted this new culture quickly, why should Google stay afar?
Introducing today, Google is rolling out the dark theme for all its apps which will be available on both Android 10 and iOS 12/13. If you are using the dark theme on your phone, Google apps will by default switch into a dark mode which if you wish can change back to normal mode.
Alternatively, if you are using light mode in your system, you can switch just the Google apps to the dark mode without changing the original theme of your phone. This new feature will slowly be released in all the compatible devices in the upcoming week starting from today.
Starting today & fully rolling out this week, dark mode is now available for the Google App on Android 10 and iOS 12/13. By default, the Google App will reflect your device’s system settings in Android 10 & iOS 13. If that’s set to a dark theme, the app will be in dark mode…. pic.twitter.com/ZqSD33ZhNt
