With the burning summer sun shining brightly upon us, you’re certain to sweat. And unless you are a unicorn, that doesn’t smell pretty. LOL!
In this piece, we bring to you a few meek and easy-to-do hacks that will make your scent last all day, so you can keep sniffing as fresh as a daisy all through the boiling summer months.
1. Use Petroleum Jelly As Moisturiser
Smells last longer when they’re applied to oily skin, so make sure your skin is prepped and nourished before you souse yourself in perfume.
2. Know Where To Spurt
If you apply your scent to warmer areas of the body, it’ll be stronger and be scented for longer. More exactly, apply it to your pulse points as in your wrists, elbows, neck, and chest, the back of the knees, ankles, and calves.
3. Don’t Store Your Perfume Bottle In The Restroom
If you keep your perfume bottles in damp places, the warmth will damage the molecular structure and also damage the worth of the scent. So make sure they’re not in the bathroom or in direct sunlight. Instead, keep them safely in a cool, dark place.
4. Décor Hack
Spray tissue paper with your preferred scent and then line your drawers with the paper. It’ll make your clothes smell great, and you’ll be remembered for your signature scent everywhere you go! Classy idea right?
5. Spritz Your Hairbrush
Squirting your brush with a couple spurts of scent will dissolve the scent through your hair. Your hair will hold the fragrance all day, but it won’t cause damage or drying like it might if you spray it directly onto your hair.
6. Apply Your Perfume After You Shower
If you apply your scent to your body when it’s still dank, the moisture will lock in the scent so it’ll last a whole lot longer – plus you won’t stain any of your clothes with spray marks!
