The 2021 ATP Cup is about to begin and 12 countries are set to compete, assigned to four groups and the list of this is out!
Being the second edition of the ATP Cup, it will be played in in Melbourne the week prior to the Australian Open. Group A comprises Team Serbia with Novak Djokovic leading it along with Canada and Germany. Rafael Nadal of Team Spain is heading Group B beside Greece and Australia.
Coming to Group C, Dominic Theim of Team Austria will go against Italy and France. Daniil Medevedev of Team Russia was ahead in Group D which also includes Argentina and Japan. Last year, Team Serbia battled through the field to lift the inaugural ATP Cup trophy in Sydney.
The 2021 ATP Cup features 12 of the Top 13 players in the ATP Rankings. Each country will consist of four players, with each tie comprising two singles matches and one doubles match. We are excited to see the battle of tennis on court, are you?
