India wins the final ODI match against Australia by 13 runs. Back-to-back wickets taken by Shardul Thakur did well for the team, a good finish for the not-so-good series!

Losing the first two ODI matches and Australia winning the ODI series, team India looked recharged and in new spirits as it stepped into the Canberra stadium for the third match. Two changes were made in the playing XI squad, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and batsman Mayank Agarwal were opted out.

Also, Virat Kohli’s team witnessed the smashing debut of T Natarajan. The young pacer was given the national cap by the skipper and he picked two big wickets against Australia on his debut match. A winning debut!

Putting up 302 runs on the scoreboard after winning the toss, three Indian players hit half-centuries. Hardik Pandya has surprised everyone with his batting skills, scoring 92 not out and giving him support till the end was Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder grabbed 66 runs, was good with the ball as he picked a wicket and caught a spell-bound catch, taking his team closer to the winning line.

Lastly, Virat Kohli hit back-to-back fifty for his team. His score of 63 has added another feather to his hat, making him the fastest cricketer in the world to hit 12,000 runs and that also in just 242 innings. The Indian captain will be happy with the boys; Men in Blue did an overall amazing performance as they gear for the three match T20I series, starting on 4 December.
