As the clocks chimed 12 and the glorious year 2019 kicked in, many of us bid a goodbye to 2018 with parties and celebrations while just like us many celebrities partied the night away too, others chose to skip the shindigs all together and head out on an exotic vacation and leave us all in envy.

1. The newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas lived their après-ski life in Switzerland with their travel buddies Joe Jonas and fiancée Sophie Turner.
2. The little nawab and munchkin of Bollywood, Taimur, sled his way to new year in Gstaad, Switzerland with parents Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan along with Natasha Poonawalla’s family.
3. Another newlywed, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, finally found time to set off for their Honeymoon, (mostly in Maldives). Padukone had earlier said, ‘It’s going to be extra special this time. It’s going to be a much-needed break, combined with the honeymoon and my first birthday (as a wife). It’s all of these things combined and hopefully, also the celebration of the success of Simmba.’
4. Ajay Devgn is vacationing in Thailand with family and is posting pictures from the adventurous vacay on Instagram. He wished his fans Happy 2019 with a snap with his beautiful 15 year-old daughter Nysa.
5. The Bachchans rang in the New Year with a bang by holidaying at an undisclosed location with daughter Aradhya, while Aishwarya aced a stunning look in her romper.
