If you thought saving the world from the 80s international conspiracy was tough, just wait until Millie Bobby Brown takes on one of the most popular detectives of all time in September.
The sweet sixteen star will step into the shoes of Sherlock Holmes’ sister in Netflix’s ‘Enola Holmes’, playing the titular role. The upcoming mystery film is based on the book series by Nancy Springer. Apart from Millie, the Netflix movie also features Henry Cavill as the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and Sam Claflin as Mycroft Holmes.

Adding plot twists as usual with a pinch of drama, Millie Bobby Brown is seen in a full period dress inspired by the old British times. She is seen giving a fierce expression while holding a bow and arrow. In the next picture, one can catch all the Holmes siblings engrossed in a conversation outside a steam engine station.
‘Enola Holmes’ is based on how Enola wakes up on her birthday morning and realizes that her mother has disappeared without any note but leaving behind odd gifts. In search of her mother, she runs away to London and finds herself involved in a mystery involving a young runaway. Outwitting her brother Sherlock Holmes, she unravels a conspiracy that threatens to set back the course of history.
Inspired by old Sherlock adaptations and the hit comedy series ‘Fleabag’, ‘Enola Holmes’ is also a fourth wall-breaking comedy. Directed by Harry Bradbeer, the movie is waiting for its premiere on Netflix.
