The United Kingdom Government, earlier, took the decision of phased removal of Chinese Telecom company, Huawei from its 5G networks.
The decision was taken after a review from the National Cyber Security Center of the UK in response to the new step taken by the US in removing Huawei’s access to the products that are manufactured based on the US semiconductor technology.
According to the new statements, the UK will not purchase 5G kits after 31 December 2020 from the Chinese company and will completely scrape down its network by the year 2027.

The news that set the internet ablaze, soon got a nod from the United State Government.
The Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo took to his official Twitter account and wrote, “Today’s decision by the UK to ban Huawei from its 5G networks advances Transatlantic security in the #5G era while protecting citizens’ privacy, national security, and free-world values.”, appreciating the UK Government’s stringent policy against Huawei.
