It’s Thanksgiving and ahead of the celebration in the new normal, the US President-elect Joe Biden has extended his greetings to his citizens.
This Thanksgiving Day, the President elect shared several words of wisdom and stated: “We need to remember: We’re at war with a virus — not with each other.” as he sent his prayers to the bereaved families for whom the festivities have lost its essence. He also said, “I will be thinking and praying for each and every one of you at your Thanksgiving table.”
We need to remember: We’re at war with a virus — not with each other.

This Thanksgiving — and in anticipation of all the Thanksgivings to come — let us dream again. Let us commit ourselves to thinking not only of ourselves but of others. pic.twitter.com/FujMmmykUP

The Vice President elect Kamala Harris also sent her wishes to the public, vouching for maintaining social distance and developing more emotional connection with friends and family.
As we head into the holidays, it’s important we are socially distant, but not emotionally distant. Take some time to text a loved one you haven’t seen in a while, check in on your single friends, or write that letter you’ve been putting off. We will get through this together.

To keep the spirit of Holiday season alive, Harris had also shared her favorite Thanksgiving recipes.
During difficult times I have always turned to cooking. This year, I wanted to share one of my family’s favorite Thanksgiving recipes with you. I hope whenever you’re able to make it in life, it brings you as much warmth as it has brought me—even when separated from those I love. pic.twitter.com/68LUeat4fE
