The United States President-elect Joe Biden is all set to form his government with Kamala Harris as VP and unveiled the National security and Froeign Policy team of his tenure.
Picking Antony Blinken as the Secretary of State, Joe Biden has also nominated Avril Haines to lead the US intelligence community. She will be the first woman in the history of America to hold the grand office. The team also comprises first Latino Alejandro Mayorkas to hold the office of Department of Homeland Security and look into the draconian immigration policy formulated by Donald Trump.
The diverse cabinet of Joe Biden also includes Linda Thomas-Greenfield as the US Ambassador to the UN, Jake Sullivan as the White House national security adviser and former Secretary of State John Kerry to be Presidential envoy for climate change.
Announcing his new cabinet, Joe Biden shared a small clip on his official Twitter handle and wrote, “They will rally the world to take on our challenges like no other—challenges that no one nation can face alone. It’s time to restore American leadership. I trust this group to do just that.” praising his team members.
