As the world is rolling back to new normalcy, sports events across the globe with new guidelines are resuming.
After receiving a green light from the health departments and the Government, ATP Tour along with major Tennis Tournaments has issued a new calendar for its events that will take place worldwide this year.
The biggest Tennis Tour, ATP, will resume on 14 August with the Citi Open in Washington D.C., followed by the Western and Southern Open and the Cincinnati ATP Masters 1000 event which later on will continue on clay in Madrid and Rome.
The ATP has issued a revised provisional calendar that sets a pathway for the resumption of the Tour.
The new-look ATP Tour calendar intends to resume on Friday 14 August.

Apart from ATP, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tour is also set to return to play this season from 3 August. The women’s competition is scheduled to begin from 3 August at the 31 Palermo Ladies Open in Italy after a long suspension due to COVID-19.
