Since the change in the privacy policy of WhatsApp, various messaging platforms have witnessed a sharp rise in their number of users. One such app gaining profit with the rising privacy concerns of WhatsApp is Telegram, where over 100 million users joined the app in January.
But switching the app is not easy as there are memories and messages stored over the messaging platform. Hence, to make your transition easy, Telegram has rolled out the ‘Export Chat’ feature, using which you can move your chat history of WhatApp, Lime and various other platforms, including documents and videos, to Telegram.
This new feature is available for both iOS and Android users and exported chat will be visible to all the members involved in the particular conversation. Moreover, the messages and media you move don’t need to occupy extra space as Telegram won’t take up space on your phone to access all your messages, photos and videos from the old times.
